When an author purchases copies directly from BookLocker.com, we give the author a discount on copies they purchase so royalties are not paid on those orders. We don’t want to collect money from authors, hold it for awhile, and then send it back to them. We’d rather give them a discount up front. The only exception is orders of fewer than 10 copies. Orders of fewer than 10 copies going to one address need to be processed through your public book page on Booklocker.com. Your royalties on those sales are 35% and your author discount for 1-24 copies is also 35% so the net cost to you in the end is the same.
